For the sake of the call

to keep my eyes focused
and experience the rest and peace

Faith

and do what You want
For the sake of the call
my hope is in You
“Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it (Matthew 10:39).”

Unknowns make for exciting times
because you never know what is going to happen
and you have to trust God
because He knows your future
inside and out
He knows your dreams
He knows your desires
He knows what He wants for you
and He will
transform your will
into conformity
with His own
Unknowns
though they may be scary
keep us relying
keep us trusting
keep us believing
that He knows
what is best
and He will
never let us go because
our future is secure
because He is in control!!!

The Love I will cherish forever
The longer you have to wait for the one your heart loves, the more you will cherish them. However, is it really waiting when it is by God’s perfect timing that you are brought together with this one your heart loves???
I know this is how it will be for me because of the blessed graciousness of who my God is that brings us together no matter where we are. If we are meant for each other, no distance is to great. Every dream dreamt in full assurance of the faith and trust in His ways will come true.
The love I will cherish forever is not one easily gained, but one that has stood the test of time; one that has been through the fire and is more alive than ever before; more alive than I could ever have thought possible.
This love my heart longs for, the love I will cherish will be goodness itself because it is from the giver of every good thing, every abundant blessing He has bestowed on me.
True, the longer I have to wait, the greater the distance, the stronger the bond of love we will share and that is a thing to be cherished forever.
LORD God, thank you for this love not yet obtained as a gift from you. I Love you. Amen.
Where does your heart find joy, my child???
Me: Good Question, as always!!! Your WORD says to “Delight yourself in the LORD and He will give you the desires of your heart (Psalm 37:4),” and I long to live my life according to your word so that I will trust you more. Sometimes it is hard to know your ways, but then, that is where Faith comes in, right???
GOD’s Response: It’s true. Delight yourself in me my child, my beautiful, precious, darling one. I love you and I have huge plans for you. I will fulfill the desires of your heart that I placed there. Trust me. Love me. Fear me. Draw ever near me and worship me with your life.
LORD, not my will but yours be done. Thank you for the desires you have placed deep down inside of me. Thank you for my purpose as a teacher and the matters of the heart that are too intimate to convey on a blog site. You know them well, my LORD, you created them. Help me to trust you more this day forward. I love you. Amen.

Hear my prayer, O LORD, sometimes, like today, I feel like I cannot go on. Let my cry for help come to you. I am in distress. Turn your ear to me when I call, answer me quickly. I am like a desert owl wandering in the desert wilderness praying for your strength, that I would look up and never look down or around. Oh, that I would know your purpose for me, what your will is above my own because my future is secure in you and only in you, dear LORD. My enemies, and at this point, the kiddos I love so much, but are bratty in my class, but you, O LORD sit enthroned forever. Your renown endures through all generations. You never cease to show your favor to me and you will respond to my desperate prayer as you will never reject my plea. You’ve stolen my heart and I will never be the same again. Let this be written for future generations no yet created, that they may see and fear and praise your name. This is why I write, why I must proclaim what I have seen and heard with sweet words inspired straight from you. You laid the earth’s foundations, the heavens are the work of your hands. They will perish but you remain, your years will never end. Pero tu eres siempre el mismo y tus anos no tienen fin. Why, what reason do I have to not trust you??? Por que no confia en ti??? What God says:

Speak the truth and love it. Love peace. I will strengthen them in the LORD and in my name they will walk-declares the LORD.
According to a struggling, yet optimistic first year teacher who literally feels like this year is the longest marathon of her life:
LORD, You will faithfully lead me in your righteousness where you want me to be. You will protect and provide for me and my aching heart as you have done so many times before and I will not be afraid. I will be a blessing to others as you have so blessed me ever so abundantly. I will not be afraid as you fill me with your truth and peace this I will speak. You will strengthen me and I will walk in your name. I Love You. Amen.

Psalm 23 according to a struggling first year teacher!!!
Yea (I consider it pure joy) though I walk through the valley (the central valley of California) of death (trials and tribulations of being a first year teacher in a place that is so not my home—the most challenging year of my life—in more ways than one). I will fear no evil for thou art with me. Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me (they protect me and I am secure, secure in His everlasting arms as I face these struggles head on—I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me). Thou prepares a table before me in the presence of my enemies (this would amount to the challenging moments and people I have come across this year—you bring me your peace and victory as you enable me to give you the praise in these storms). Thou anoints my head with oil, my cup overflows (with the abundance of your blessings that are so apparent in my life). Surely goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever (where you close one door you open another and with you it is always good because you have huge plans for me). I Love you, I will shout to you with the voice of triumph, may your favor rest upon me, your servant, I long to know you more to be taken into a deeper comfort and knowledge of you. Amen.

Unless you O LORD give me help by your strength, I cannot go on. I lean on you. I cling to you. Your right hand upholds me as you embrace me and draw me nearer so much nearer to you. Your Love, O LORD, is my support, my anchor. When anxiety overwhelms me from my many thoughts and selfish way of thinking, your consolation and forgiveness and your peace brings joy to my soul. You are my fortress, my rock in whom I take refuge. Prepare me, O LORD, prepare me for all you have in store. Thank you for your abundant blessings you pour forth on my life. I am so excited for how you will continue to rock my world as I go forward with you. I want to sit and absorb your words, your consolation all day because I crave it more than anything. I rest in the shadow of your wings for you have made me glad and I will flourish in your house O LORD, you are exalted and I will praise your name.

LORD, I resolve to praise you no matter what from this day forward because you have blessed me in so many ways. I cannot even contain your blessings that are so apparent in my life, so I give you my praise. Through the storms I will praise you and become stronger in the process. No matter what you have in store for my dreams and precious matters of the heart, I will praise you and as I do you will make me content with the right now since that is all I am promised. I am going to praise you and give you first place for I am wholly devoted to you. LORD, I am going to praise you no matter what you bring about because of your goodness to me. I Love you. Amen.
