God is Not Willing….Read on….
The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness, since what may be known about God is plain to them because God has made it plain to them. For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities-His eternal power and divine nature-have been clearly seen being understood from what has been made so that men are without excuse. For although they knew God, they neither glorified Him as God nor gave thanks to Him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened (Romans 1:18-21).
The LORD is not slow in keeping His promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. But the day of the LORD will come like a theif. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare (2 Peter 3:9-10).
Behold! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him and he with me (Revelation 3:20).
Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter it. But small is the gate and narrow is the road that leads to life, but only a few find it (Matthew 7:13-14).
The conclusion of the matter is this: Taste and see that the LORD is GOOD; blessed is the man who takes refuge in HIM (Psalm 34:8).

Being Tested….
My grace is sufficient for you, my strength is made perfect in your weaknesses (2 Corinthians 12:9-10). I must seek His face and ask Him to lead me because that is His place. He will give me the strength to lead those in my life. No, leadership does not come naturally to me especially with people close to my age, but that is the place I am in and I am leaning on His love, His strength, His wisdom and patience to lead me, so that I can lead them. Thank you for this opportunity LORD, to experience ever so much more of your power day by day. Whatever you are doing inside of me, it feels like chaos at times, but I believe, you are up to something bigger than me, larger than life, so heavenly!!! The prayer of the righteous person is powerful and effective, so LORD, down on my knees I pray for in my weaknesses, you are made stronger. I love you. Amen!!! Thank you for the victories you bring!!!

Out of place
out of sorts
dazed
and confused
yet, I know why I am here
but I don’t feel like I fit in
anywhere I go
which is not all bad
but
when I am not teaching
I feel
out of place here
strange
uncertain
help me to reach out
dear LORD
where I am at
help me to be patient
and love others
who do not yet know you
right where I am at
at this time
I miss familiarity
I miss my friends
I miss my family
I will not lie
I know why I am here
LORD
but sometimes I have to cry
you are my Strength
it it was easy
everyone
would be here
would leave their
beautiful home
and go to a foreign city
that is not home
out of place
to be honest
but I know why I am here
I see it every day
out of place I feel
but in place I am
as part of your plan

it was meant to be

LORD, No matter what you bring before me, I will love you. I will faithfully trust you with the strength you give me. I love you. Thank you that blessed are those who take refuge in you; that they will never be dismayed. Amen.

Reflections on my thoughts….
He has allured me to the desert on this journey, and He will speak tenderly to me. I am not sure how long my journey here will last but I know it is helping me to let go of my plans and let His begin. It is only when I let go. My life up to the last year or so has been in preparation for the intense journey He is in the process of taking me on. This journey has taken me places physically and spiritually that I have never expected to go, but if I never set out, I would wonder my whole life if only, if only!!!
