My Life this Year
My life this year is about overcoming my fears with courage that comes from God knowing He is faithful to hold my hand and be with me through it all. He has the perfect plan for my life and I am excited to live it out. Thank you LORD Jesus, your ways are higher, wider and deeper than I could ever imagine. You are amazing!!!

My Top 10
As I look back on 2008, my year of new beginnings, I think of the top 10 things God has done for me:
1. He has provided for me in more ways than one.
2. He held my hand and pulled me through the most difficult year of my life when I actually questioned if teaching was for me.
3. He gave me a new beginning in my teaching career. He did not allow me to stay down, but picked me up and gave me strength to make a fresh start.
4. He has given me joy and contentment in being single knowing that He has a plan in this area of my life since He is after all the one with the plans.
5. He has shown His love to me through family and close friends.
6. He has worked out all of the little things in my life that often consume my thoughts.
7. He has protected me while I am on my own away from home and everything I know.
8. He has given me strength and faith to not live in my comfort zone.
9. He has blessed me with not one but two great churches; one in Phoenix and one in San Diego.
10. He has allowed me to be involved in people’s lives as he is teaching along with preparing me for the next part of this journey called life.
I am so forever blessed!!! Thank you LORD Jesus, help me to never forget!!! I Love you!!!

Thank you, dear LORD, for a new year of life. 2008 was a year of new beginnings and 2009 will be a year I will never forget. I will live each day so as not to regret the choices I make. Thank you for your provisions even in what seems some of the toughest circumstances of my entire life. Thank you for being there when I feel so alone. Thank you that you have the ultimate plan for my life and your timing is the best. Thank you that life is good and eternal life is better. Thank you for my single years and the gift they are from you. You have given me so many opportunities, forgive me for losing sight of that these past two weeks. It is hard to wait for something I want so much, but LORD, thank you for the relationship you have for me. You know what you are doing, you always have. Thank you for the man who will eventually be my future husband, it is hard to wait, but LORD, I will!!! I pray that this year I will seek you with my whole heart more than I have before. I pray you will remove anxiety from my heart and give you my best every day. Thank you for the opportunity to teach and reach out to others. Thank you for my loving and supportive family along with my amazing friends who you put in my life. I love you, and I am excited for the phenomenal year you have for me!!!
