My Prayer for Clarity
(especially in relationships—not that I am necessarily in one, but there are some things I have been confused about lately)
To you, O LORD, I lift up my soul; in you I trust, O my God. Show me your ways O LORD; teach me your paths; guide me in your truth and teach me; for you are God, my Savior and my hope is in you all day long. All the ways of the LORD are loving and faithful for those who keep the demands of HIS covenant; the LORD confides in those who fear HIM; HE makes HIS covenant known to them; YOU lead me beside the still waters; YOU restore my soul; YOU are my shepherd and I will never be in want!!! I will be still and know that YOU are God with the strength you give!!! YOU are God my savior, and my hope is in you all day long no matter what comes my way!!! Help me to believe you in all areas of my life. I love you, Amen!!!

The Love I desire
LORD Jesus, If I fall in love, I want it to be forever; I want a love that is pure and undefiled that has been refined by the fire over distance and time. I want a relationship that is set apart for you through faith and patience. LORD Jesus, this is worth the wait, my hands are open to you in this and all areas of my life. With you all things are possible. I love you, my first and forever LOVE. Amen!!!
“If you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from His love, if any fellowship with the SPIRIT, then make my joy complete by being likeminded, having the same love, being one in Spirit and purpose. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. This is my prayer, that I would be this to the man of my dreams. He is so worth waiting for!!!

Be Satisfied…
I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well-fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do everything through Him who gives me strength (Philippians 4:11-13).
Forgive me for my lack of contentment, continue to teach me to be satisfied with your answer for today. My hands are open, dear LORD, as I am still learning. Help me to do the next thing you have for me to do in obedience as I eagerly await all you have for me. Let my heart be at peace with its most precious matters. I love you, Amen!!!

He will rejoice over you with singing (Zephaniah 3:17).” LORD Jesus, quiet my heart and above all else give me your peace for today. I know everything always works out the way you want it to, so LORD, fill my heart once again with your peace, I love you. Amen!!!

Thank you, dear LORD, for a new year of life. 2008 was a year of new beginnings and 2009 will be a year I will never forget. I will live each day so as not to regret the choices I make. Thank you for your provisions even in what seems some of the toughest circumstances of my entire life. Thank you for being there when I feel so alone. Thank you that you have the ultimate plan for my life and your timing is the best. Thank you that life is good and eternal life is better. Thank you for my single years and the gift they are from you. You have given me so many opportunities, forgive me for losing sight of that these past two weeks. It is hard to wait for something I want so much, but LORD, thank you for the relationship you have for me. You know what you are doing, you always have. Thank you for the man who will eventually be my future husband, it is hard to wait, but LORD, I will!!! I pray that this year I will seek you with my whole heart more than I have before. I pray you will remove anxiety from my heart and give you my best every day. Thank you for the opportunity to teach and reach out to others. Thank you for my loving and supportive family along with my amazing friends who you put in my life. I love you, and I am excited for the phenomenal year you have for me!!!
