In waiting we begin to get in touch with the rhythms of life – stillness and action, listening and decision. They are the rhythms of God. it is in the everyday and the commonplace that we learn patience, acceptance and contentment.
No matter what you are waiting for to happen in life, it is worth it. Whatever we think we have to wait the longest for, turns out to be the best thing ever. There is no time that is too long to wait, God’s plan is never late or early, but right on time. As hard as waiting is, it is worth it because of what He does in and through us. He is preparing us for whatever the next steps are in our lives. He wants us to need HIM and fully rely on HIM for everything. What are you waiting for today? Give it to HIM in full surrender, and watch what HE will do!!!

Because of His grace, I can surrender, not necessarily abandoning my desires, but yielding my all to Him. He has graciously given me all things, why do I find it so hard to simply surrender? He is always good, always faithful. Why do I find surrender such a struggle?
Surrender, my friend, cannot be done in one prayer, one thought, one day, one minute. It must be done daily, sometimes by the hour, the minute, and even by the second. I am surrendering, listening to my life, seeing my life the way that He sees it, and accepting it with grace. I am letting Him take control of my desires as I release them to His tender loving care. But, there is a part of me that likes to hold back. Why? Why, when He is so gracious, so loving, so faithful?
Surrender must be sought after, must be chosen. What do I have to lose?
LORD Jesus, I repent of that part of me that likes to hold back, that part that refuses to surrender and tries to make things happen on my own accord. I transfer my trust from my ability to your love and goodness. I admit I struggle with surrendering control. Help me to by faith accept your answer for today and be satisfied in the matters of the heart that I struggle to give over to you. You know all and my heart belongs to you first and foremost. I choose to love and serve you with my life this day forward. I am excited for what you will do in and through me in this next chapter of my life. Continue to prepare me in all ways. I love you. Amen.

This is when we know we have entered a deeper level with someone. This is when we know our hearts are connecting, and lives our conjoining. This is how we know when we feel safe with another; safe enough to let our true feelings known; safe enough that we do not have to hide. This is how we know and this is how God wants us to be with Him. He wants us to freely come before Him and know that He can and will listen with His whole heart. Since He does this for us, He has given us other people so we can do the same for them. This is what a true relationship, any true relationship is.
True contentment comes when I do not let my longings slay the appetite for my living because I accept and thank God for what is given, not allowing the not given to spoil it. LORD, forgive my lack of contentment for today, help me to praise you more, for you alone are worthy. All my Love, Amen.

I am secure in His everlasting arms because He is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. He is in the process of training me to be Holy. He disciplines me for my good, that I may share in His holiness. For this reason, I need to make every effort to live in peace with all men and to be Holy because without Holiness no one will see the LORD since He suffered so that I might be Holy through His blood.
In this way, may the God of peace who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our LORD Jesus, the great Shepherd of the sheep, equip me with everything good for doing His will and may He work in me what is pleasing to Him through Jesus Christ to whom be glory forever and ever, Amen!!!
