Thought for the Day
It may not be that easy to take up our cross and follow Jesus, but it is in this denying oneself and following HIM that we find true rest and peace; it is through taking up our cross we show that we demonstrate Faith as we… Trust in Him for our next steps in this life!!!
“Come to me all you who are weary and heavy burdened and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light (Matthew 11:28-30).”

Safety
I am safe
wrapped in His arms
lost in a divine romance
trusting in the ONE
who has never let me down
reaching out to HIM
but at the same time
bowing down
in love
and in awe
HE is my refuge
HE is my strength
my everlasting help
when all else fades away
I am safe
when I look to HIM
when I take HIS hand
when I feel HIS grasp
I know
I can do all things
for my life is
safe
within HIS
outstretched arms!!!
“He who dwells in the shelter of the MOST HIGH, will rest in the shelter of the ALMIGHTY. I will say of the LORD, HE is my refuge and strength, my GOD in whom I trust (Psalm 91:1-2).”

HE gives us what we need to do what HE wants!!!
We are to eagerly desire the greater gifts. As we daily pursue God, His fruit is manifested in us. When this happens He will help us in the areas we are lacking as we fulfill the purpose for which He created us. For when we are weak, then we are strong because His strength is working through us in the areas that we need it the most.
“But eagerly desire the greater gifts ( I Corinthians 12:31).”
“But He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, my strength is made perfect in your weakness….’ For when I am weak, then I am strong (2 Corinthians 12:9-10).”

Your word is perfect
most holy and true
Your word is the very essence of you as
Your word gives life

as it teaches me to trust and rely on YOU
Your word is so right
and is in charge of everything I do
Your word is so very new
as I learn to listen to you
Your word is life
Your word tells all
through the joy and the pain
It can comfort and heal
and help me through anything

deep inside my heart
revealed when I’m burdened with

as it reminds me of my abundant life
it speaks of your love
which reaches down to me
reminding me that you

Your word is a tool
for us to use
to sharpen and inspire
to serve as you desire
Your word is a lamp
a light to my path
leading and guiding me
helping me so I will not stray!!!

Thank you for YOUR POWERFUL WORD Lord Jesus, that always hits me to the core each and every day especially in the moments when I need it the most. It is YOUR WORD, Lord Jesus, for my life I love you, Amen!!!

This is how you guided your people to make for yourself a glorious name. They were given rest by the SPIRIT of the LORD. Verses I Claim when I think of Relationships—aka—Matters of the Heart
“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the LORD. As high as the heavens are above the Earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts your thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9).”
“Those who walk uprightly enter into peace; they find rest…(Isaiah 57:2).”
“In that day they will say: Surely this is our God; we trusted in HIM…(Isaiah 25: 9).”
“You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast because he trusts in you; trust in the LORD forever, for the LORD, the LORD is the Rock eternal (Isaiah 26: 3-4).”
“WAIT for the LORD! Be strong and take heart; and wait for the LORD (Psalm 27:14).”
“Be still before the LORD and Wait Patiently for Him (Psalm 37:7).”
“I was young and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken (Psalm 37:25).”
Speaking of wisdom—necessary in all relationship decisions: “Her ways are pleasant ways and all her paths are peace (Proverbs 3:17).”
LORD Jesus,
You are by my side no matter what; holding my hand through everything. Your ways are pleasant ways and all your paths are peace. You have the best plan for my life, and that special relationship. Help me to never cease to trust you with an unwavering faith that does not change. When I look up and fix my eyes on you, I am not so scared anymore because I remember once again that you are in control. It is your courage and strength pushing through to open my heart to the possibility of my life entwining with another’s. There is nothing to be afraid of because you are right there holding my hand as always before. Thank you LORD Jesus. I go forward with you. I love you, Amen!!!

Warriors
Warriors are INVICTUS, they cannot be conquered; Romans 8:37 says, “No, in all these things we are more than a conqueror through Him who loved us.
Warriors have courage in spite of their fears; Do not fear for I am with you, do not be dismayed for I am your God, I will strengthen you and help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand (Isaiah 41:10).
Warriors keep their eyes straight ahead; So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen; for what is seen is temporary and what is unseen is eternal (2 Corinthians 4:18); Let your eyes look straight ahead, fix your gaze directly before you (Proverbs 4:25).
Warriors do not dwell on their weaknesses because they know His grace is sufficient for them; But He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness…..” for when I am weak then I am strong (2 Corinthians 12:9-10).
Warriors rely on His strength; But they that wait upon the LORD will renew their strength, they will soar on wings like eagles, they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not faint (Isaiah 40:31).
Warriors wait patiently for the LORD; Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for Him (Psalm 37:7). WAIT for the LORD. Be strong and take heart and WAIT for the LORD (Psalm 27:14).
Warriors know that Satan is already defeated; The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work (I John 3:8). The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet (Romans 16:20). AMEN!!!
Warriors rely on the love of Christ that cannot separate them from HIM; For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our LORD (Romans 8:38-39).
Therefore, be a Warrior and fight for Christ in your life; When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with HIM in glory (Colossians 3:4)!!!

Thoughts from the WORD…when I cannot sleep!!!
Be still and know that I am God!
Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart, and wait for the LORD!
Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for Him!
Don’t resist the process! He will complete the work He started in you. He is in the process of preparation, developing you to be more like Himself. In addition, He is developing the person you have affection for and preparing you for each other if that be the case!
Seek peace (peace of mind) and pursue it!
It is a heart thing!
He has never see the righteous forsaken!
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law!
I am more than a conqueror over anxiety in every part of my life!
Faith is willing belief!
It is all about the process that God takes you through no matter where you are in life.
We go through things so we can help others and encourage them!
Choose to WIN—Choose to be a CONQUEROR!!!
LORD Jesus, give me peace and help me to sleep tonight. Thank you for what you have brought about in my life and the ways you are preparing and developing me, making me more like you. Take away my anxiety because all things work out the way you want them to. I love you, Amen!!!

Never Alone
Although you may think
you are the only one
you rarely are
there are many
who are going through
the exact same trial
the exact same issues
at the exact same time
or maybe have just recently
gone through it
During these times
Be anxious for nothing
His grace is sufficient
You are never alone
He is refining
and preparing you
for all He has in store
Think about such things
those that are pure, noble, trustworthy and true
He is able
and He will bring you through
You are never alone!!!
“Look to the LORD and His strength; seek His face always (Psalm 105:4).”
