His sincerity astounds me
It hits me to the core
He seeks the LORD with all his heart
and from Him he will never depart
His character has been prepared
and refined
He will never let me down
and for that, as my prince
he should wear a crown
He keeps his eyes fixed above
sheltered and embraced by His heavenly love
He is not afraid to take life by the reigns
and step out in courage
knowing He is there
His loyalty and friendship
are what draw me to him
that make me want to get to know
the heart inside of him
He makes me smile
by the gleam in his eye
and my life is
just a little bit brighter
because I let him in
although seemingly so far away
the feelings I have for him will not stray!!!
(I am not sure who this man of my dreams is, all I know is that distance and time cannot keep us apart. God is in control and He has the master plan. I pray we will both seek His face and draw closer to Him. I pray that we will both seek to have more of His character; His love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control. I know this man of my dreams is amazing!!!)

LORD, I have not been trusting in you today. I have too much idle time. It is easy to trust you when things are busy, but right now, my heart walks two fine lines, one between faith and doubt; the other between patience and impatience. I see no answers. I live in the unknowns and I question who I am.

LORD, this is so simple. Why do I make it so complicated?

Today, I choose to follow you, and give you all of my heart’s trust. Help me to fight against the adversary who keeps trying to steal my joy and take away the abundant life that you have given me. He is trying to destroy me beginning with my heart and it so miserably makes me forget who and whose I am. Thank you that I am yours and that you will never leave me neither will you forsake me. I need you to fill me up and make me whole once again. Only you can thoroughly renew me from within so I may be a blessing to others as you would have me to be. I love you, my Savior, Amen!!!
