LORD, show me how to give it

Unconditional Love

LORD, show me how to live it

a love that is patient

a love that is kind

a love that does not envy

or keep any record of wrongs

a love that always hopes

always perseveres

always endures

a love that is strong

and always sincere

LORD, this is the love I want to live

This is the love I want to give

for the rest of my life

I don’t have to think twice

with youby my side

this love never will subside.

Life is about living and making the most of every opportunity day by day.  It is meant to be shared!

Love is meant to be something you cherish, something amazing that is looked forward to and held onto forever!

I wonder what would happen

if people all around us

looked at life through

the eyes of a child

IF we viewed life as a child,

there would be less greed

because we’d be more willing to share

there would be less hate

and more unconditional love instead

there would be less sadness

because joy would be found

delighting in the simple things

O the glorious sound

that life would be so much less complex

and we’d know our prayers were heard

even if HE seemed so distant

HIS answer would always be clear

even if not fully understood

If we viewed life as a child

our faith would be renewed

as we took each step

along this journey

our hearts would never be miscontrued.

If we really viewed life as a child

life each day would be

like Christmas morning

and bring a smile to our face

full of HIS beauty and grace!!!

He called a little child and had him stand among them.  And He said, “I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the Kingdom of God (Matthew 18:2-3).”

But Jesus called the little children to Him and said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the Kingdom of  God belongs to such as these (Luke 18:16).”

Yes, we can learn a lot from a little child, especially at this time of year.  They are so sweet, so innocent, so simple.  We can learn a lot from a child’s prayers of faith as they boldly and confidently approach their heavenly father praising and thanking Him all the way.

Little children, can often teacher us the most about life.

LORD Jesus, help me to pursue more of a simple child-like faith that trusts in you no matter what happens in my life.  I love you, Amen!!!

The ocean

makes me rise up and praise

YOUR  love

always sets me free

YOUR word

makes me come alive

The beauty of the ocean

refreshes and renews me heart and soul

YOUR creation

displays YOUR power

YOUR love

changes me

from the inside out

YOUR word

comes to life in my heart

and give me strength

because from you

I will not depart!!!

in the shelter of the Most High

and rest in the Shadow of His Wings

because you hold my precious, fragile heart

in your hands

I am crazy in love with you

because you are more so in love with me

for all time

even to the ends of the earth

because you know the plans

you have for me

that give me hope and a future

How long, O LORD, must I wait in this desert place?

Although, I love what I do, some days I feel so alone

but I know you are with me and you hear my cry

I long for that special connection with another

but I thank you that I have it with you

Thank you for being the God of my life

my faithful friend and

closest companion

YOU are more than enough,

and I am CRAZY in love with YOU!!!

LORD, I am learning how to live my life with open hands in every area, but I confess, I am no expert at it!  I need your arms to wrap around me right now, at this moment.  I love you, my Savior, Amen!!!

Daughter, above all else, guard your heart for it is the well spring of life.  Do not arrouse or awaken love until it so desires.  Seek first my Kingdom and all these things will be added unto you as well.  I love you, child of mine forever.

Help me do this, dear LORD.  I love you and want to live for you with everything I have!!!

Done!!!  I am with you, child, even to the ends of the earth!!!

Why do I long for his call?

Is there something there?

Do I really feel something?

or is my heart being surreal?

I don’t know what I have to do?

Why would I ever fall?

but, LORD, I so feel like I want to

I will keep looking to you through it all

Of course this has been my prayer

for that special guy

yes, this is my prayer also for

the man of my dreams

would keep

God, I pray for a man with a gentle heart, who will be tender towards me and cherish me all the days of my life – who will respect and honor me as you do – I pray that you will create a bright and peaceful spirit in me that will awaken adventure, desire and a desire for intimacy in his heart. Allow us to be a part of your Kingdom – may we give you all we have, make us clear minded and steadfast, especially in our love for you. scrawled underneath, i wrote, a self sacrificing man. But in the space of singleness, I do not know if or when the door to a new relationship will open – but I’m becoming ok with this – as I ask God to continue to color my world and re-awaken a vision and thankfulness in me for what I already have.  Thank you for being my lover first and forever during this time in my life.  I love you, LORD Jesus, Amen!!!
